5a90884bd4 last kontron commit.
This is a potentially good pointer to where someone can take this.

While startup was working, BSP now explodes once the AP stops, while
BSP is doing startup IPI loop send #2. The code needs to be hardened; I
think use of the shared variables would really make it much more solid.
This would be a good undergrad student project if someone is looking for one.

784450567f This now compiles and has a simple error on build to stage2.
Geode still builds fine.

include/lib.h includes a new function, cycles(), which is a u64 and
architecture-defined. (Thanks, Plan 9, for a sensible idea).

All rdtsc removed in favor of cycles()

All other changes are k8 specific. None of these changes adversely
impact existing platforms AFAICT.

Goal is that by 31/8/8, we're testing on simnow.

7e78ce492a Make some things (die, mem*, resourcemap code, option code) SHARED.
The option code is tricky as it is used by standalone code. If you
include that file and you are standalone, you now have to define
STANDALONE (is there a better way?)
Change the cpuid to be a 24-byte string instead of 3 u32s.
Make the CPUID usage PIC-safe by not using %ebx.

718dab6ba5 This is a cumulative set of fixes for LX800 boards. These are all tested on ALIX 1C and DBE62.
This includes:
 - the working power button patch.
 - onchipuart2 for very early startup -- this will be replaced with a better mechanism soon.
 - dts mod for powerbutton on cs5536
 - dbe62 dts fix for COM1 setup
 - ram check call in dbe62 initram.c
 - Carl-Daniel's fix to detect incorrect access to spd variables.
 - more debug prints in geodelx northbridge support code.

 This is cumulative since we're lagging on acks a bit and it's hard to keep this
 stuff all seperated out since it involves a common set of files. I'd like to get
 it acked and in tree today if possible. It's a very small set of lines changed so please
 forgive me for the cumulative nature.

 Thanks

c81aa82942 Add an ARRAY_SIZE() macro which returns the size of an array, regardless
of the data types of the individual array elements.

The macro is defined in lib.h, so code which uses it must include lib.h.

e32e8c3144 prototypes for dram and smbus functions.
We are experimenting a bit here; we are going to put all protos for
lib/*.c into this file. Experience has shown this will not be a large
or messy set of protos. Plan 9 has used this technique and it works
well, as it avoids 100 files with one prototype per file.

464ef4613d Use the same naming convention and placement for "include guards" in

This closes #40, as I think we don't need to invest time to fix this in
LinuxBIOSv2, but only in LinuxBIOSv3.

7513bfdb03 Lots of changes here, build broken, but people need to see this.
renamed the phase3 etc. to stuff like phase3_scan, so you can get a
rought idea what it is. The names mean more.

adding pci_device and, at the same time, showing how we can get rid of
the really ugly stuff that crept in. note you can specify ops in the
dts, which avoids the need for hideous stuff like this:
static void enable_dev(struct device *dev)
{
        /* Set the operations if it is a special bus type */
        if (dev->path.type == DEVICE_PATH_PCI_DOMAIN) {
                dev->ops = &pci_domain_ops;
                pci_set_method(dev);
        }
        else if (dev->path.type == DEVICE_PATH_APIC_CLUSTER) {
                dev->ops = &cpu_bus_ops;
        }
}

So that foolishness is gone.

added delay functions.

Note that we have include/lib.h, and define all the functions in there,
instead of in lots of fiddly includes.

Brought back the enable op, once I understood it; renamed it to
something that makes sense.

I'll be on a plane soon, will continue to work, but at least you can see
what's going on here.
